Whether you hail from the West Coast like us, or you just love a good seafood dish, our seafood chowder is a crowd-pleaser. Thick and creamy with plenty of veggies, this chowder can be made with your favourite seafood and shellfish—prawns, clams, scallops, crab or fish, you name it!

Directions:
1) In large pot, sauté 1 onion in 4 tbsp butter.

2) Add 6 C water, 3 chopped carrots, 3 chopped celery stalks, 4 medium cubed potatoes, and bean portion of soup package (pinch bag to remove top portion of beans).

3) Boil then simmer covered for 1 hr until beans are soft, stirring regularly.

4) Add remaining package contents, 2 ½-3 ½ C cream or milk, 120 g can crab meat with juice, 140 g can clams with juice, 2 tbsp lemon juice. Simmer for 20-30 min, or until seafood and rice are cooked, stirring regularly.

Add extra water or milk as needed. Season with salt and pepper. Option: add lobster, scallops, white fish, prawns.

INGREDIENTS FIELD HARVESTED. INSPECT FOR ELEMENTS OF NATURE.

Add 1 diced onion and 4 TBSP butter and set to sauté. Sauté for 10 minutes until onions are translucent.

Hit cancel and add 7 C water, package contents, 1 C chopped carrots, 1 C chopped celery and 4 cubed potatoes.

Secure lid and close vent. Set to SOUP for 30 minutes.

Quick Release then stir in 1.5 - 2 C cream (use milk for a lighter option or heavy cream for a richer version). Also stir in the seafood. We suggest a 140 g can of clams along with 120 g can of crab meat with the juices. 

Other seafood options include: scallops, prawns and white fish. 

Once the seafood is added secure the lid again and set for 2 minutes.

120 gram can of crab meat with juice
140 gram can of clams w/ juice
2 tbsp lemon juice
