Nonna Pai's Story: Nonna Pia’s Balsamic glaze was created in Whistler, BC by husband & wife duo Norm & Natasha Strim when they tasted Balsamico Tradtionale on a trip to Italy. Upon Returning to Canada Norm (Red Seal Chef) created a Balsamic Glaze with the same taste and texture as a 50-year-old aged balsamic. Once the recipe was perfected, it was named after Norm’s Italian Mother – Nonna Pia and sold in local farmers markets. After a successful pitch to Dragons Den and investment from Dave Chilton Nonna Pia’s has become a pantry staple sold all across North America.
